You can get to Giethoorn by car, train, bus, or tour group from anywhere in the Netherlands within a few hours, however, most round trips will take several hours of travel.
If you’re visiting the Netherlands and on a tight schedule, rest assured that you can get a great Giethoorn experience even if you don’t stay overnight.
However, if you have some time to spare and want a few days to relax amidst the tranquil nature of the Dutch countryside, why not book one of the Giethoorn hotels, vacation rentals, or B&Bs and enjoy a few days sailing on lakes, dining by canals, or biking through lush fields?
What are things to do in Giethoorn if I stay there for a few days?
